- The winners of the Hamburg Animation Award 2010
Around 650 guests were present when the winners were announced at the award ceremony. The audience included many representatives from the Hamburg business community, i e the animation, film, TV, advertising, and games industries, as well as representatives from politics.
The 8th Hamburg Animation Award ceremony on Thursday, 23 June 2011 at Schmidts Tivoli on the Reeperbahn in Hamburg
The highlight of the evening has been the presentation of the Hamburg Animation Award trophy by Fabian Erlinghäuser to the winner of the first prize, Angela Steffen from the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg for her short film “Lebensader”. Erlinghäuser is the animation supervisor of the Oscar nominated film "The Secret of Kells". Special focus was placed on the recent year’s partner country France.
