
- The award winners 2011
For the ninth time creative talent newcomers will be chosen to receive the international Hamburg Animation Award. Candidates from animation schools all over the world can submit animations and animated films (the contest deadline ist Thursday, 3 May 2012). A high-profile jury will choose the award winners. Prize money for all the awards totals EUR 11,000. The winners will be announced at the award ceremony in Hamburg on Tuesday, 12 June 2012 at 7.30 P M.

Starting from 27. January 2012

The contest is open to students and graduates (max three years after entering the job market) from film academies, colleges and universities all over the world.
The best animation or animated film of all styles (2D, 3D, flash, puppet animation, etc.) with the most creative stories or most original styles will be awarded.

Country Award Great Britain

This year the Country Award will go to an animated film newcomer from Great Britain. All travel and hotel expenses will be paid for the Country Award winner. In addition, all contest entries from Great Britain automatically qualify for the other award divisions.
